Hartford - Voluntary Benefits

ACCIDENT Insurance

 

The Hartford's Accident plan will pay each scheduled benefit for treatment, injury or services incurred by a covered person who is injured while insurance is in effect, subject to any plan limitations and exclusions.  Amount of payment will vary on type of injury.  

 

CRITICAL ILLNESS Insurance

 

The Hartford's Critical Illness plan will pay a lump sum benefit of 25% to 100% of elected amount for a covered person diagnosed with any covered illnesses while insurance is in effect, subject to any Pre-Existing Condition Limitation. Employee coverage options $10,000, $20,000 or $30,000.  Spouse is 100% of employee's elected coverage amount; child is 50% of employee's elected coverage amount.  Health screening benefit is $50 once per year for each covered person.

 

HOSPITAL INDEMNITY Insurance

 

The Hartford's Hospital Indemnity plan will pay a scheduled benefit for hospital confinement that occurs for a covered  person while insurance is in effect.  Additional benefits for certain services or treatments may also be available. The Hartford offers plans that are designed to be HSA compatible.
